Prepare the Dough: If using pizza dough as the base, roll out the dough and pre-bake it according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes at 400°F (200°C) until lightly golden.
Cook the Pasta: If using pasta as your base, cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Meat Mixture
Brown the Meat: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
Sauté the Vegetables: Add the diced onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Add Pepperoni and Bacon: Stir in half of the pepperoni slices and all of the crumbled bacon. Cook for another minute to incorporate the flavors.
Add the Sauce: Pour in the pizza sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until everything is well combined and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.Juicy Pineapple Heaven Cake
