1 lb (450g) mild Italian sausage (or ground beef, turkey, or plant-based crumbles)
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce (store-bought is perfect!)
1 (18–20 oz) package cheese ravioli (frozen or refrigerated — no need to cook first!)
2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend (mozzarella, provolone, parmesan mix)
Optional Boost: Add 1 cup fresh spinach, roasted mushrooms, or a splash of red wine to the sauce!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Brown the Sausage
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage, breaking it apart, until browned and cooked through (~8 mins).
Drain excess fat if needed.
Simmer with Sauce
Pour in the marinara sauce.
Stir and simmer 5–7 minutes to let flavors meld.
